Polem Beach Goa Address: South Goa District, Goa, 403728, India
Located approximately 30 km south of Chaudi, Polem Beach is the southernmost beach in Goa. A secluded mesmerizing, 700 m long stretch of glittering sand by the side of vast blue expanse of water, this beach is the place from where the coastline of Karnataka starts and that of Goa ends. It is a perfect place for those who want to be away from the hustle bustle of cities and the crowds of tourists. An ideal place to spend some time with oneself, this beach also had rocky cliffs adding on to its startling natural beauty.
As the beach is quite secluded, you might not meet many tourists here. In fact, there are high chances that the only people you will meet here are fishermen, busy in their own world of fishing. Unlike some other secluded beaches, here you will find a few shacks, where you can sit and relax amidst the refreshing beauty of the beach. Enjoy fresh seafood dishes along with soft drinks at these shacks.
This beach does not have facilities for various water sports. However, this beach is perfect for swimming and sunbathing. One of the biggest attractions here are the dolphins and the white-bellied fish eagles that you can spot right from the beach!
Visitors will not find any of the luxurious accommodation here at the Polem beach. Although small cane houses with thatch roofing are available for rent at minimal charges.
