Located 31 km away from the city of Margao, Kakolem Beach is about 7 km to the South of the Cabo de Rama resort. One of the most secluded beaches of Goa, this beach is nothing less than a paradise for those who are seeking some relaxing time away from the crowd and chaos.
Vast expanse of refreshing water by the side of shimmering sands and palm trees makes for a breath taking scenery. The beach looks even more captivating if one look from the cliffs. There is also a small spring at the beach, which flows down the hillside and joins the Sea at the end.
If you are thinking of staying here at the beach, you will not find any kind of accommodation here apart from a cabin. You will not find any shacks for snacks and drinks too. While visiting this beach, it is advisable to carry your own bottle of water and a few snacks.
This beach is perfect for those with a liking for adventure. Its untouched nature present exciting opportunities for exploring.
Also known as Tiger beach, it has a legend associated with it. According to some, many tigers are being hunted here at the beach, secretly. However, there have been no reports of seeing any tiger until now.
Reaching this beach can be a bit tricky. It is quite difficult to reach here by road as there are no connecting buses until here. Tourists can come here via private transport. The best way to reach here is via Sea. One can rent water-engine transportation and reach here without the hassle of climbing and hiking the cliffs.
