Indian Naval Aviation Museum Goa is a unique museum established in 1998 to exhibit the functioning and evolution of the Indian military’s naval air arm. It’s one of the two naval aviation museums in India that showcases various (decommissioned) aircraft used by the Indian Navy.

The museum, which started with a modest collection of only six aircraft, has expanded to include weapons, uniforms, and many vintage documents and photographs. The complex has stunning outdoor and indoor exhibits to put everything on display. It’s one of the most popular museums in Goa.

This military museum is situated near Dabolim airport in the Vasco da Gama area of Goa. It’s built on a plateau overlooking the famous Bogmalo Beach.

It offers a panoramic view of the parked aircraft in the outdoor exhibit area.

4. Watching an aviation documentary – The museum also has a mini theatre that plays a captivating 20-minute documentary on naval aviation every hour. This short film brings to life the history and world of warplanes, offering a perfect complement to the physical exhibits. You can also check out the virtual reality corner for an immersive flying experience.

5. Shopping and dining – Round off your visit with a stop at the Glass Cockpit Cafe, where you can relax and enjoy refreshments.
