What is Goa without its beach shacks? The susegad life is truly lived along the shores of this Indian state, especially when you put your feet up and wait for the sun to set as you sip on a drink and munch on snacks to pass the time. Curlies is one of the most famous when it comes to beach shacks in Goa.

Curlies is open on all days of the week from 8 AM to 3 AM.
What to Eat at Curlies
Curlies is not just a restaurant, bar or a beach shack – it has a cult status. No matter where you stay in North Goa, you will want to visit this place that looks like any other usual shack but turns into a party place after sunset.
The split-level design of the restaurant allows for a rooftop section as well. This vantage point allows you to gaze at the sandy beach and the waves lapping at the shore. Curlies serves a variety of cuisines such as Israeli, Chinese, continental, Italian, Goan, Portuguese and North Indian. You will also find options for fast food and desserts along with beverages and juices.
Most revelers laze at Curlies for its cheap beer which costs around INR 80 for a pint. However, the food menu and the price of other alcoholic drinks can easily take your bill to upwards of INR 1,700 for a couple.
The bestselling dishes at Curlies are pizza, honey chili potato, falafel, Maggi and beef roast. If you arrive here at breakfast, you can ask for a variety of breakfast platters such as English (with eggs, bacon and salami), Middle Eastern (with hummus and pita bread) or the Israeli classic – shakshuka.
There are plenty of snacking options at Curlies. Nachos, pancakes, burgers, sandwiches, kebabs and pizzas are only a few of them. Tuck into sizzlers or order a tikka platter with mint sauce and tandoori salad on the side.
Savor the flavors of Indochinese as you dig into noodles, rice, chopsuey or Manchurian. Italian dishes such as lasagne, spaghetti or penne pasta are also available in a choice of white, pesto, mushroom or tomato sauce. Beef steaks and fish items are also available here.
North Indian curries are available in vegetarian, chicken, beef, egg and prawn options – to be eaten with pulao or naan. Do not miss Goan classics such as cafreal, pork vindaloo, calamari, roast lamb and crab preparations. Seafood is the highlight of Goa.
You can end your meal with delectable desserts like gelatos, sorbets, ice-creams, banana fritters, cheesecakes, brownies or fruit salads. Balance your meal with a lassi, tea, coffee, soft drink, juice or shake. Alcoholic choices include feni, beer, wine, whisky, vodka and rum.
