Day 1: Arrival, Check-in & Goa Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Goa airport or railway station, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. After freshening up, you can proceed for sightseeing.

Day 3: Transfer to Badami & Badami Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin the drive to Badami. In Badami, transfer to your hotel and check in.

• Agastya Lake- Agastya Lake is a sacred tank at the foot of the Badami cliffs. It’s surrounded on three sides by red sandstone hills. Its scenic beauty, cultural significance and surreal surroundings make it a popular attraction on this Goa Badami Hampi tour.

• Badami Cave Temples- Badami Cave Temples are four caves carved into red sandstone cliffs, mainly in the 6th century. They’re among the finest examples of early Chalukya rock-cut architecture. Dedicated to Hindu and Jain beliefs, these caves are the heart of Badami’s heritage.

En-route Sightseeing

• Pattadakal Temple Complex- Pattadakal Temple Complex is a UNESCO Heritage Site, with a cluster of Hindu and Jain temples. It has ten major temples and numerous small shrines built around the 7th–8th century. They’re a blend of the Dravidian and the Nagara architectural styles.
• Durga Temple- Durga Temple is a remarkable 7th–8th century monument at Aihole. Although it’s referred to as Durga Temple, Goddess Durga isn’t the presiding deity. The temple used to be part of a fort (durg) complex, and it resembles a Buddhist chaitya hall.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day of sightseeing across Hampi.

• Virupaksha Temple- Virupaksha Temple is a magnificent ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Built during the Vijayanagara Empire, its gopuram defines Hampi’s skyline. It’s one of the oldest continuously functioning temples in India, and it’s considered Hampi’s spiritual heart.
• Sasivekalu Ganesha- Sasivekalu Ganesha is an 8-foot-tall statue of Lord Ganesha carved out of a single boulder. This monolithic statue is set in an open-air enclosure, admired for its detailing. It got the name because its belly resembles a mustard seed (meaning sasivekalu).
• Hazara Rama Temple- Hazara Rama Temple (meaning temple of thousand Ramas) is a historic temple dedicated to Lord Rama. Built during the Vijayanagara Empire, it’s believed to have been the place of worship for the royal family. The panels in the temple walls depict scenes from the Ramayana.
• Lotus Mahal & Elephant Stables- Lotus Mahal & Elephant Stables are two remarkable monuments showcasing the grandeur of the Vijayanagara Empire. Lotus Mahal is a two-storey palace, admired for its lotus-bud-shaped central dome. The nearby Elephant Stables are domed chambers that sheltered the royal elephants trained for processions and ceremonies.
• Vijaya Vittala Temple & Stone Chariot- Vijaya Vittala Temple & iconic Stone Chariot are among the most iconic structures in Hampi. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vittala, and it’s renowned for its magnificent Dravidian architecture. The musical pillars in its mandapam are just as remarkable. The Stone Chariot in the main courtyard is a finely carved stone shrine.
• Hemakuta Hill- Hemakuta Hill is a scenic hill known for its ancient temples, rocky landscapes and views of the ruins. It offers a sweeping panorama of Hampi’s boulders and historic monuments. And it’s said to be the finest spot in Hampi to sit and watch the sunset.

• Lakshmi Narasimha Temple & Badavilinga Temple- Lakshmi Narasimha Temple & Badavilinga Temple are also revered in Hampi. Lakshmi Narasimha (or Ugra Narasimha) is Lord Narasimha in a meditative posture. Goddess Lakshmi was carved on the lap, but it was destroyed later. Right beside it stands Badavilinga Temple, with a tall Shivalinga that’s perpetually surrounded by water.
